It shows up everywhere…this confusion and pain, both personal and collective. Protests, marches and cries on social platforms are demonstrations of the state of our global emotional body.
Yes – One consciousness = One emotional body.
We are all tapped in to the collective consciousness, whether we are conscious of it or not.
I find myself connected, feeling it, empathizing with it and then making that necessary decision for me as to how I manage my thoughts and emotions during this time of transition and turmoil that impacts our globe.
I ask myself, what can I do internally and externally to contribute to greater peace.
This is my mission. What is yours?
I’m choosing Witness, I’m choosing Faith, and I’m choosing Focus.
It’s a consistent practice to choose to be present as Witness. Witness to the play of consciousness that is playing out right before our eyes and within us. I’m resolved to be stronger than the mind that has a tendency to focus on pain and confusion.
This is my practice.
It’s a consistent practice to choose Faith over Fear. Faith in myself to do my best to hold the Peace Pole in the midst of confusion and turmoil.
It’s a consistent practice to be mindful of my Focus – choosing to stay present to what is running through me while discovering how I can make a loving and peaceful difference in any small way. Offering compassion to the suffering and offering earth to those unearthed.
“Your time for disbelief is over. Your time to wallow is over. Our country is at stake.” ~ Lisa Bloom, civil rights attorney and legal analyst.
If you are plugged in, and I know you are, if you are feeling into our collective fear, pain and confusion, here is what you can implement to stay sane.
~ Feel it. You can’t get ‘over’ a feeling. Although your mind would have you think otherwise. Feel it fully without judging or putting a story on it. You’ll get bitter and brittle and hard if you resist ‘feeling’.
~ Be present to that feeling – yes simple presence. That’s your love, that’s your offering of attention, without resistance. Presence doesn’t make a problem or an enemy out of a feeling. It simply attends to it – as Love.
~ Observe other people’s pain. Be with it and offer your compassion. Yet, rise up and hold the higher states that have the capacity to bring clarity and healing. Those states are compassion, honesty, and generosity – to name a few.
“Love is always a disturbing presence. We must disrupt the order of things to obey the orders of Love. – Vera De Chalambert
Imagine a shift in our collective consciousness if each of us could let go into presence, faith and the actions we are guided to take. There would be much less pain in the atmosphere of our collective emotional body. There would be much less pain to perceive.
Do you have a mission to make a difference in our world?
Do you have a practice?
Until next time…let’s practice being Peace.
